Privacy Notice
This notice explains how mba.ph processes personal data when you browse the site, subscribe to updates, submit a school inquiry, or contact us as a school representative.
Who Controls Your Data
Truelogic, Inc.(“we”, “us”) operates mba.ph and is the Personal Information Controller responsible for the personal data described in this notice. You can reach us, or our Data Protection Officer, using the contact details at the end of this notice for any question about how your data is handled or to exercise your rights.
Personal Data We Process
School inquiries may include your name, email address, phone number, work experience, target start date, preferred MBA format, selected school, message, IP address, source page, quality score, and timestamps.
Newsletter subscriptions include your email address, subscription source, subscription status, and unsubscribe timestamp. Partner inquiries include school name, contact name, work email, phone number, website, plan interest, message, and submission timestamp.
The comparison tray stores selected school IDs, names, and slugs in your browser local storage so your comparison choices persist on the same device.
Cookies and Local Storage
mba.ph does not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other websites. The only browser storage we use is strictly necessary, first-party local storage that remembers the schools you add to the comparison tray so your selection persists on your device.
Because we use no non-essential cookies, no cookie-consent banner is required. You can clear this storage at any time from your browser settings. If we introduce analytics or similar tools in the future, we will update this notice and seek consent where required.
Purposes and Basis
We process this information to operate mba.ph, send requested newsletters, route school inquiries, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, respond to partner inquiries, keep program information useful, and maintain site security.
Depending on the activity, processing may be based on your consent, your request for services, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site, or compliance with applicable law.
Sharing and Recipients
When you submit a school inquiry, mba.ph may share your inquiry details with the selected school so its admissions team can follow up. We also use service providers for hosting, database storage, and email delivery. These providers process information for mba.ph under operational and security controls.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and security, or to address a regulator, court, or lawful request.
Automated Processing
Lead quality scoring helps mba.ph route and prioritize inquiries. It is not used as the sole basis for a decision that significantly affects you, and schools remain responsible for their own admissions decisions.
Retention
We generally retain school inquiries for up to 24 months, partner inquiries for up to 24 months, operational logs for up to 12 months, and newsletter subscription records until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to suppression-list and legal requirements.
Browser local storage for comparisons remains on your device until you clear it or remove the selected schools.
Your Rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal, restriction, objection, portability, and complaint where applicable. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@mba.ph or use the operator contact details below. We will verify your identity and respond within a reasonable period consistent with the Data Privacy Act.
You may also contact the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph) or another competent authority if you believe your data privacy rights have been violated.
Data Protection Officer
Truelogic, Inc. has designated a Data Protection Officer (DPO) responsible for overseeing our compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules. You may contact our DPO for any privacy concern, to exercise your data-subject rights, or to raise a complaint at dpo@mba.ph or by mail at 6788 Ayala Ave, Makati City, 1229 Metro Manila, Philippines. If your concern is not resolved, you may also lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
